ME Program Educational Objectives

B.TECH

PEO-1: To produce competent Mechanical Engineers, capable of applying the knowledge of contemporary Science and Technology, to meet the challenges in Mechanical and allied Engineering fields.

PEO-2: To prepare the Mechanical Engineering graduates to work in diverse fields in different capacities involving individual and teamwork.

PEO-3: To inculcate among the students a sense of ethics, morality, creativity, leadership, teamwork, and professionalism.

PEO-4: To instill in the students the ability to take up innovative research projects and to conduct investigations of complex Mechanical Engineering problems using research-based methods.


M.TECH (Manufacturing and Automation)

PEO-1: To disseminate technical information through scholarly publication, conferences and continuing education.
PEO-2: To provide fundamental technical knowledge and develop analytical skills required for manufacturing technology and automation.
PEO-3: To equip students with modern tools, technology and advanced software for deliberating engineering solutions.
PEO-4: To develop independent researchers and academicians in the broad area of production and industrial engineering.


M.TECH (Machine Design)

PEO-1: To disseminate technical information through scholarly publication, conferences and continuing education.

PEO-2: To understand the concepts and tools for design and development of machine components and systems.

PEO-3: To develop the ability of problem solving by adopting analytical, numerical and experimental skills with awareness of societal impact.

PEO-4: To develop life skills to become design professionals and Academicians.
